What Happened?

WHAT HAPPENED?

What happened to the Giant Pandas’,
And the gorillas’,
And turtles’
What happened to the rhinos’
And the tigers’
And elephants,
What happened to the cool summers’,
And the clean water,
And low tides,
What happened to caring for the planet,
And recycling,

What will happen when there are no more bees to pollinate our plants,
What will happen when the forests where animals and plants live on gets cut down,
What will happen when more and more wildfires destroy the homes of animals and people,

What will we do?
Where will we go?

How can we live on Mars when OUR planet is in danger,
How can we live happily ever after,
If there’s nowhere to live,

Climate change IS an issue,
And we should do something to stop it,
Even the smallest things can make a big difference.
