Together

Together my wife and I
Withstood many a storm,
Both within and without
Climbed steep mountains,
Panting as we did
Glided down some smooth slopes,
Feeling the gentle breeze
Crossed little streams,
Feeling the ripples of water on our feet
Heard the singing of birds,
And the sound of blowing winds
We went through thick and thin,
Knowing we had each other to cling
We are still wading through deep waters
Knowing we have each other for keeps,
Together my wife and I
