TIME

Caged like a bird
In a prison that's not a prison
Held captive
Like a wanted killer
Derived the freedom of movement
I pay for sins
I didn't commit
Tied,
Like an animal waiting to be butchered
Slowly it consumes me
Finding light
I struggle to wiggle out of my tiny shell
Ticking clock
My time is running
Tick tock
It keeps running
Tick tock
It doesn't stop
An hour
Another
And another
Time refuses to stop for my sake
It passes by
Offering no hand
It passes by
Cruelly Killing my chances
Laying still
Half conscious
With
The clock as my only friend.
