The Corona virus

Neil Mckenzie 1959 (Brooklyn Nyc)

"The Corona Virus"

Staying the course through a sea of Ubiquitace doom...
We navigate our lives through a deadly cloud  of gloom...
We pledge to travel lightly and give ourselves social space...
We hope they will find a cure for this medical disgrace...
This virus originated from mainland China...
Like many others, that swooped down to claim us...
I say lets get rid of these "Wuhan" style wet markets...
Bats, rats, snakes and cats. Not my idea of a real exotic treat...
Let them find something else to eat...
As the masses get infected and slowly begin to die...
Their loved ones wonder, will it be their turn to say goodby...
Lets stay strong and keep our faith...
We pray to god its not too late...
Our circle of life has been cheated once again...
By another pandemic...
We just cant seem to end...
