Tell me why?

Mabel iskandar 1998 (Zgharta)

Tell me why?

So why would I tell you
All the secrets in my heart
Tell me why would I trust you
When you have an opposed mind
Why would I give it all
To someone ain't ready
If I was ready to face it all
So why would I give my all
When you barely give a little

I see you hiding
Behind those games, you use to play
Like a little boy with Mummy
Trying to win her attention
With stories that show courage
Love and honesty
But you're way too far from being any

So why would I tell you
All the secrets in my heart
Tell me why would I trust you
When you have an opposed mind
Why would I give it all
To someone ain't ready
To face life with honesty
To someone that feeds his ego
with a little admiration,
from a stranger
Cherishing his self-esteem
With some affection for
The untrue picture offered
Walking nose up with little
To no knowledge
That self-esteem come
within and not from other
