Sunday - Funday

S.SAHANA 2000 (Namakkal)

Some people fight for the last size of pizza,
We fought for the last idly;
Every Sunday on our little round breakfast table,
We would sit opposite to each other;
With our plates of idli,chatni and sambar...
And argue about economy, religion, politics and what not;
Stark opposites,yet together,
But once it came down to the last idli,
We would forget our arguments and go for it;
And that brought us together unknowingly,
Repeatedly,every Sunday ;
we would struggle against each other to get that idli,
And in the end.....
we both would end up having it,
Sharing it with joy and lots of love;
Only to be back at our arguments later.....✨
