Storm

This ship is lost in the storm
Darkness watching quietly
As tears spill and hearts break
Bumping against old wood

Storm scheming up over me
Fogging my thoughts
Am I weak hearted
Or is this life too harsh?

Too caught up to figure it out
Too bothered to ignore it
Is it karma?
Having a loud mind

Wanting to swim away
Yet too stubborn to give up
Will I find peace in the ocean?

About this poem
