Seas of Jupiter

To be filled by nothingness,
To see the wind,
To smell the seas of Jupiter,
The height of man's experience.
To taste this earth
To live another
To feel the pain of others
Joy is found!

I walk through a web of cracked bones
'Life! Life!" they cry
I claim life - far away
Arm's length
Truth?
Breath pours out as it calls
Echoing, echoing . . .
I hear an answer
Resounding clearly
Higher, greater, more sublime-
His arm is not too short!
