Red for Rose

Red for Rose

The sky is blue but rose is red
Rose my love and I, her life
If love is scarce, and life is short
Then love for me, life for Rose

Blue is life but red is love
The Sky for life and rose for love
If life is blue, and love is red
Then blue for me, red for Rose

The Sea is blue but blood is red
The Sea is deep and blood is thick
If She live to die, and I live to love
Then blood for me, Sea for Rose

Our love is short but our life glued
She my love and I, her life
If life is good, and love is true
Then blue for me, red for Rose

The sky is free but rose is sold
Blue is life and red is love
If Life is free, and love is sold
Then love for me, life for Rose

Heart is love but breathe is life
She fights for life and I fight to love
If life is fair, and love is real
Then blue for me, red for Rose

Life if free but love is gold
I, her life and she my love
If life is short, and love is won
Then love for me, life for Rose

Love is joy but life is pain
Rose my heart and I, her strength
If I seek love, and she seeks life
Then blue for me, red for Rose.

About this poem

The poem is about the love of my life (Rose) who had been diagnosed with cancer and had a short period to live and she being the only person who has genuinely showed me love, so I wished tables could turn so that I died for her.
