Meet Your Victims

At tender times, harmony’s bloom
Innocence and much care made me unknown to us
At least then, you believed freely
Like a tender child, we clung to each other
Oblivious of times to come

Times flies, times to come
The world accept reality
Reality exposed me to us
Like School Leavers’ love, your faith in I fades
Gradually as Romeo’s love to Juliet then Brutus’s love to Caesar

Like estranged lovers our path crosses
Parting with smiles and sometimes with tears of disappointment
Revealed in the soul of a person as voices
One of mediocrity and the other of greatness
Yearning each passing day for your approval

Set together for the long journey of life, one must choose
The voice to set free or the voice to be chained
Time test our resolve to this tender task
Of living true to Life’s very quest

Can we conquer the world at our doorstep?
Can our story be heard by men and women after our time?
Is our resolve strong to face such an uncertain future?
Riddled with ups and down
Oh! I wish I have the answer you seek, but trust me, tender one.
