Love At First Sight

Soulima Biswas 2006 (Kolkata)

The first time I saw you I never thought It would be like this,
The more time went by you slowly got me in my knees.
At first it was nothing but just a little crush
But now you make my adrenaline rush.
You are the one who made me believe in love at first sight
And now you are the only one I think about all night.
Butterflies in stomach were never a myth
Cuz I feel them whenever you are in my next seat.
Love always is not about saying I love you
It sometimes is about many ways that I adopted new.
From hiding to gaining a little courage but not telling it because of fear
Not a fear of rejection but to lose you my dear.
What should I say? - about my love for you
Loving you for me is an art-form new!
Thought our love was a forever kind of thing;
Do you know our names together has a ring?
Drawing your portrait was one of the pleasant moment for me;
It was as satisfying as having a biscuit with the tea.
Often I hear "Love is in the air" they say,
Having you by my side is the only thing I pray.
I cherish the way you laugh and smile;
Making my heartbeat go volatile.
You are the euphoria of my eyes
Though you are the only reason for my all night cries.
My love for you will be alive forever ,
Even if your hurting’s are ending never.
My only wish is being loved by you
Can you please make my dream come true?
