I AM A WOMAN

Perfect Nathan 2000 (Port Harcourt)

I am a woman and for this I must be respected by the other gender
A chica for now, but time will tell as I grow to be a mother
I am a woman, I am never demeaned by the falling words of another
Oh yes I am, and a lot more courage I have got to render!

I am a woman, I am never enticed by the cunning words of a man
For I'm too focused to be distracted, and in me is a better life I plan
I'm that woman who shapes her life to be her children's biggest fan
For I will make my husband, and in God I believe I can.

My creator made me a woman and this was never a twist of fate
For I'm a woman who will one day turn a man's soul mate
Who will solve societal problems and make the world so great
So call me that woman who's unending vigor you can never rate.

My mother is a woman, and for that joy of motherhood she bore me in pain
My sister is a woman who is never downgraded by the scary sun and rain
My brother's wife is a woman who makes her husband and all his troubles she strives to drain
And I am a woman and for this fact, in me is a better life I aim!!
