His Serene Highness

Khadijah Umar Ragada 2002 (Niger State)

His Serene Highness

The man is as old as night
Always pubing the moon for shelter
But the stars disapproves of his plight

In the morning, he squeezes the light
And establish an abode for his darling daughter
The man is as old as night

During summer, he influences the bright
Heat, and molds an adapter
But the stars disapproves of his plight

And in winter, he sort with delight
A kaleidoscope for the sun to glitter
The man is as old as night

His little girl is a princess of light
And his brother in-law, a banter
But the stars disapproves of his plight

So on New Year's Eve, he committed overnight
A robbery and fed his pets in flutter
The man is as old as night
But the stars disapproves of his plight
