Him

Bibeolliaen 2003 (Batangas)

There’s some ruckus
Between heart and mind to focus
Isn’t it humorous?
On how they fight in furious
Can I follow my heart
That tell me how to love even though it hurts
Or should I follow my brain
That help me to ease the pain
Hey heart did you reminisce?
Something I want to finish
How it went all along that fast
That this man give me a fuss
So much heartache that my brain can’t stop complaining
Not so good but it’s still functioning
So much profanity
That shitty went all in my sanity

About this poem

Well this is about the author being in love during her high school days but guess what she end up being a hopeless romantic. The author wrote this to tell to you all that not all the time we should follow our heart sometimes we'll end up being hurt. Our mental health matters so choose the right people so that they will be worth our pain.
