Forever changing

         The autumn leaves are
           falling now,
My mind wanders as I step
           outside,
Seeing all the colors God has
           made in his own time,
           green, brown, red and gold,
           Bonfire sent and rustling leaves
           in the air,
the cool fresh air touches my
           skin,
I think you God for forging
           my sin,
           Pumpkin patches and children
           laughing,
           My favorite time of year,
           As it draws near the
           end,
A new year coming to start
           all over again,
Time seems to fly right by,
           But in Gods eye,
           One day, a thousand
           Years,
I’ll be waiting till it comes
            Again next year.
