Feelings Matter

Feelings matter,
As it has the capacity to shatter
One's heart and soul.
Feelings bring Joy
But also has the power to destroy
One's heart and soul.
Each and every person has a different story
For some it may be glory
But for others it may be worry.
Any person may it be vacuous or smart,
We must remember that the person has a heart.
A heart which is tender
That we must not hurt ever.
We, as humans must be a good listener
And must not make the other feel like a prisoner.
It is important to be kind
And remind,
Everyone that they are worthy,
And not make anyone feel empty.
Helping people to overcome stress
Is like attaining success
So let's not be tough,
And spread love
As feelings matter,
that has the capacity to shatter,
One's heart and soul.

About this poem

Related to World Mental Health Day.. I just wrote a poem. Not at all an expert in writing poems. But wrote what came into my mind. Nowadays children are facing lot of mental health issues. It should be taken seriously and should not be left unbothered. Let's not make mental health an issue to be made fun of. We should always reach out to people who need help. Give support to them. And help them overcome whatever they are facing and are going through. Love yourself and spread love.
