Fault in my own thoughts

Himanshi Maniktahla 2006 (Haryana, india)

Am I the only one who is at fault?
Or is it them making me think so?

Am i the only one who has restrictions?
Or everybody else has the same?

Am I the only one who wishes instead of aspiring, or everybody does the same?

In the era, where in everybody wants to fly,
Am I the only one who still wants to create my own universe?

In the generation, where everybody wants to have a family, am i the only one who avoids such chores?

If they don't think the same , am i the only one at fault ?

In the era, where everybody wants a support system,
Am i the only one who wants to become independent?

After 75 years of my nation's independence, Am i the only one still waiting for mine?

Am i the only one who writes to make my fantasies turn real, or every poet does the same?

Am i the only one who wants to follow fireflies instead of butterflies or every teenager do the same?

Am i the only one who thinks myself as a weirdo or everybody thinks the same, at some point of their live?

At this point of my life, am i the only who is in search of a better myself while losing the best of myself?

Is it really fault in my own thought? Or everybody thinks the same?
