Crossing the street

Crossing a street is not as simple as seen
Ask from the one, through what all hardships he has been
The speeding cars, the wild vehicles
The horns firing, amid which you can't hear your own shout.
The first step tells that you've decided
That you'll take short but a strenuous way
That you're determined to face any situation
And that you've payed no heed to the ZEBRA CROSSING

In the halfway of your hike, you stand alone
Eyeing on your target and not what you've done before
Supposedly phone rings, and it's an important call you've to pick
Meanwhile, a rushing car is approaching to kick
Instantly you jump hither and thither to save your life
But keep heading towards the end line

The last initiation left, the rest walk done
Still chances are present that vehicles finish you up
Need to be concentrated to end your run successfully
Else you'll find yourself again at the start.
