Blizzard

Blizzard

Poised like an imperial queen,
Lips tasting like the sweetest red wine,
Eyes hiding a profound ardour of gelid blizzards,
Oh how she could put mankind on its knees
With just a simple, yet sinful smile.

She took his breath away.

A benignant youth,
Lost in a maelstrom of colors,
Having the ingenuity to see warmth even within a thousand blizzards,
Ay, he could steal the curiosity of all and sundry
With a coup de maître of his brush.

He helped her breathe.
