Are you okay?

Are you okay?

Don't lie,
This is a chance to get by,
Admit and save your life,
You were asked,
You did respond
But it was a lie, now be truthful
Are you okay?

You are okay?
With your life messed up,
With you bankrupt,
Instead of shaping you disrupt,
What do you mean?
Because I see nothing okay,
Why lie to yourself?

You are over the relationship?
But why cry about it at night,
You'll never beg to be loved?
So, why are you texting for closure,
You were asked if you were alright
You said 'yes' why lie?

Get your damn head straight,
I don't mean to curse,
But mother fucker you make me angry,
Stop shutting your feelings
There are supposed to be there
Otherwise you wouldn't feel

What about that course you wanted?
You really given up?
You still think about it, don't you?
But when you are asked,
You make it sound simple,
Like it was never a dream to you!

You are looking in the jaws of death
Yet you can't make your bed,
Are you even trying?
No help will come from outside,
Dominate from within
Abdicate from falsehoods

Look, as long as you deny your feelings,
You'll never move on,
You'll build a wall around you instead,
You might never escape from it.
I'm asking for the last time
Are you okay?
