A Name?

You see, it isn't always the same;
Well, wait! was he just a name?
I knew his eyes were mischievous, but i didn't say;
For all it matters, i saw the dismay.
Its not something you would proudly say;
But i knew it wasn't wrong when i took that way.
I could see through him;
And it pained to just let him give up on whim.
Unexpected it seemed;
But i knew, my heart ached for a person like him.
Umpteen times i told myself, "Think with your head not that thing in your chest" ;
But it just took a mention of him, i became clumsy at its best.
His name made all my limits blurred, i resisted;
He became a habit, a compassion I never knew existed!
I don't know if you get it caz' i can't express how thankful i am;
Caz' he was always with me when it hurt, i knew he'd understand.
This feeling isn't something that i can push aside;
It needs no force, control's long gone, besides.
It might be bad but it isn't wrong;
I can feel it, this feeling, it is that strong.
And if that's really so wrong; then they really don't know what this feeling is like!
Yes, it isn't always the same;
And now he's more than just a name!

About this poem

This poem is about a fragile girl, who had a trauma growing up. She met a person, and who helped her calm but became everything for her.
