A Message
Poem:
A message

------------------------------------
Who knew
That a message
Landed already in my inbox
Awaiting for weeks
For my reply
Your message....
That landed in my inbox
Will prove to be
The launching pad
Of a beautiful bond!
That was then
That
I didn't even know you
So I ignored your message
But this one message
Cultivated the soft and gentle emotions
Of love
No doubt, it was you
Who initiated the communication
But who knew
That someday
An introvert like me
Would mingle with you
To this extent!
Of course, my sophistication prevailed
Over your savageness
My tolerance outpaced your arrogance
And
My honesty tossed your hauteur
Then we
Despite being wounded by a dividing line
Drawn on a stretch of land
Met each other so passionately
As if we were parted since centuries
As if we were waiting for each other
Since many reincarnations
As if we were made for each other
Like a bond between dream and its interpretation
Like a bond between love and a shackle
Like a bond between pen and a writing
But listen, my dear!
I make you swear
Swear by the lamps of hope
Burning in my eyes
Swear by the fire flies That flicker in my heart!
Don't look back into your past
Now only we two exist
You and Me!
There can't be any grief
If we are together
The compensation of our lifelong thirst
Is nothing else except love
So resolve with commitment
That you will never part away from me
If this ever happens in life
The love will get into agony and distress
If this ever happens
Then
This delicate string of my breaths
Will cut off and break right away!!!!
