"Try again"

Jylinne 2022 (General Santos City)

Life is like a book

So uncertain that you need to

Flip the pages to reveal the next thing

Moving on and on,

You lately found out that you are

Stuck and hurt in the thorns

Drowned in the deep waters

Of worries and anxiousness.

One wrong move

And it's over.

The life and achievements that I once had

Are now overturned,

Passed on to someone that is near to me.

Still keep smiling, though it isn't worth to be done.

Had to let people I see in front, I'm still okay,

Showing off my serious face, concealing my regret and disappointment.

I hope that I still can turn back time,

But I know, and it's clear that everything will never be the same again.

How to rise from the floor and

To take back the things I had once?

Just stand and continue

Just move on and try again

It's not over, nor is your life.

You can cry and be disappointed

Of those results

But one thing's for sure,

"You've done a good job. Holding it on, till the very strength you have."

About this poem

It tells about the current standings of your life, and how your one move (or decisions) greatly affects to your current situation. But whatever the outcome may be, just move and continue.
