FROM THE LIGHT

From the light of the big bang
All things came to be
From the light of the supernova
The earth and other planets came

From the light of the nuclear
The stars are born to life
From the light of the solar
The planets get a dawn

From the light of the sun
All life on earth find sustenance
From the light of the moon
The beauty of the night shines

From the light of the volcano
Big mountains spring forth
From the light of the fire
Hunger and cold was conquered

From the light of dawn
Sweet bird melodies enthrall
From the light of dusk
The dark in its glory is born

From the light of the lamp
The dark is kept at bay
From the light of the candle
The solemn prayer is made

From the light we get sight
And sight colours the world
From the light all things shine
And sunshine is the best of all
