Dreamcatchers II

Every once in a  while
the dreamcatchers
grow heavy
with the nightmares they keep, and
someone must let
them
out

There are terrible things inside of
them, darling,
I know, for I have seen
their horrors, myself.

And there are mysteries in this world
that cannot be explained, strange and crooked
people who would steal the dreamcatchers,
and destroy the world.

You mustn't look at the dreamcatcher once
I give it to you. Simply take it outside
and fling it into the skies.
Call it back to you and it shall return.

And you mustn't let even
one of those wretched fiends
yank it from your hand, for with it,
they can see into your darkest
dreams, they can see into your
soul.

And that, my dear, is the key to
destroying the world,

you
are
my
world.

About this poem

I have no idea what this poem is about really. It seems like dream in it's strangeness and imagery.
