AWanderer

Sonnet
A darkened arena
Filled with lost hope, shrouded by misery and envy
Monsters cover every square foot

Yet you stand there
Alone, in your gilded armor of hope
Against them all

An impossible feat
Yet you still try
To vanquish them all

I’m sorry
For all the trouble
You went through to find my heart

A creation of horror
Built by myself
