QUESTIONS GONE UNANSWERED INSIDE THE MIND OF A WONDERING SOUL

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I strip myself naked for all to see,  I am just an old soul who is trying to remain grounded and free. they forced-fed me their versions of religion, politics, sexuality, and authority trying to shame me for my given name. I say f*ck them no one is born with the curse of an original sin

My wings were clipped at an early age society had no clue that I grew claws. this rubbish they spew like a possed demon was not my norm, so growing up I was full of anger and almighty rage. tormented by your beliefs not my own. I have been through heaven and hell both of which I created in my mind and not my heart that shit tore me apart.

No more fear, no more worries. whatever regrets I had I put behind me, grudges I will put aside but never forget this for my peace, not theirs so the doors will remain open and any given moment close

I am the one who was hand-picked by a higher power somewhere in an ivory tower to ease the pain of the troubled minds I have been there before it feels like your hands are tied and you are drowning trying to come up for air searching for help and still no one is there.

Life does not change you decide to change and rearrange the parts that still hurt. it is all up to you what you do. there are always going to be those questions that go unanswered that's why on this journey I have become this soul dancer
