Trapped And Saddled

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Trapped and saddled.
Glued.
To ancient beliefs.
Unnecessarily to keep them.
Documented to please and follow,
By the very ones showing...
They have ceased to allow themselves to be,
Tormented and abused mentally.

Although,
Kept is a wanting...
Unchanged these ancient,
And documented beliefs.
Used for the purpose to prove useful.
When determining who,
Created the laws and rules...
As they were kept to stay that way.
Although,
Kept is a wanting...
For themselves to display,
A disobeying of those laws and rules.
With a getting away to permit and perform,
Treasonous acts.
That undermines the truth,
Evidence and facts.
An undoing of a democracy,
Is being done from the inside.
And not from the outside being attacked.

Observed to be witnessed,
Upclose and not behind anyone's back!
With it done supported and endorsed,
By the ones who insist...
A return of a normalcy,
Being flushed away...
With dysfunctioned mentalities,
Leading the way...
Towards an abysmal existence.
Has for them undeniable,
Permanent and abundant benefits!

While sitting,
Saddled, glued and trapped...
To ancient beliefs.
With this hoped to keep,
The future from becoming...
Anyone's reality to live it as should be.

'The Earth, Moon, Sun.
And the Universe as well as The Stars,
Are all ours to control.'

'Sad.'

'Is that an acronym?
What does s.a.d. mean?'

'Pitiful!'
