Duplicitous

What do you do
When the person whom you tell your pain, hurts you too?
Thus It takes all of me to remain sane
You treat me bad and still do
It hurts knowing you can treat me better but choose not to
Because you've been awake listening to my stories till the sunrise
Just to ignore me later on for days
You ran a circle just to get a glimpse of me
But then decided look away deliberately
I've told you the words of agony others spoke
Only to have those come out of your mouth
"You mean a lot to me" is what you said
Then told me I'm nothing but a regret
You panicked not getting a reply even for an hour
Then told me our interactions don't matter
Oh my sweetheart ,what will I believe?
Your words or the feelings you inflict?
What I felt doesnt incline with what you did
For you made me feel special
Then deserted me as an empty vessel
Oh my darling what will I believe?
The pain you gave me or the love within?
I won't fall for someone unworthy
So why did my love cause so much misery?
With this heavy heart that you helped beat
All alone , in despair I sit
As I write this sad note
I can only think of one quote
That I loved you
And sometimes you loved me too
