Father Knows Best

Sometimes God says: Go!
Sometimes God says: Stop!
All I really know is
Got to listen to my POP!
When he says: Just sit down
Then I know I better do it
Or else I’ll get my ass whipped
And I know that He’ll see to it
He isn’t always angry
He isn’t always pleased
But I know He likes it
When I do what He decrees
My Father always loves me!
Even when I disobey
But make no mistake about it
He’s going to have His way.
