Left and Right

You need this?
I want something else.
It's all turned over and unacceptable.
Yet we are expected to work to live.

Why can we not be all?
All hungry, all full.
All in need, all giving.

Yet it's been bricked. We depend on it.
What about the ants?
What about the animals?
We are different, and all messed up.
It helps us live, it kills us.

What am I? What should we change?

About this poem

Even to live, we need money. No amount of money can be put on a life. Yet we do that every day.
