Rose Bush

Things seem so stagnant lately
I try to lift my feet
Super procrastinating like I'm dragging them
I dread the feeling of rejection
But at the same time
Tell myself
This can't be worse then potential talent goin unnoticed
Like I forgot to mention my magic
I get stuck in the circling thoughts
They become stagnant.
Attemptin to rip apart the chains wrapped around my legs
But the struggle isn't enough to make a change
Nothing but hopeless face
A smile wouldn't light the place.
Stagnate
Like the queen in chess
With only one move available to take
Exhaustingly exaggerating my contemplating
I stay in space.
Stagnate
In my meditate
Sometimes I don't even want to eat or sleep
It gets too deep
Like literally forgetting to breathe
My confidence goes down the sink
And I sink
Because there's no where to blow off steam
Praying to god this is just a dream.
I stagnate
And wait
Like just an acknowledgement that someone heard the whispers
I thought I was screaming...
Invisibly stagnant
While the same people walk by me consistently
And not one ever sees the real me
Even the so called friends I chose to hang out with
Wouldnt give the curtesy
In fact they add more chains around me
Just to watch me panic
They try to keep me stagnant...©
