FIRST

Believing in your every word, who else was I to trust.

Loving you too hard took a turn for the worst.

Pain inside, mental anguish wouldn't let me flourish.

Feeling empty like my soul was being malnourished.

Chasing a dream, when my heart was about to burst.

No longer letting you seal my fate is a must.

No more wondering what if because, I put me first.

Moving on to a new me, time for me to adjust.
