THE QUANTUM DRUNK.

Mwalimu Patrick Wambua 1996 (Makueni)

Now away with classical mechanics,
Religion of myths defended by fanatics,
Drawing lines explaining their magics,
Watering their wine sober they're lunatics,

Schrodinger derived somewhere in a wave,
Hello shouting someone knocking his grave,
Somebody greeting there arises Mr. Plank,
Damn busy drinking to quantum ripe drunk,

Schrodinger drawing a bigger long equation,
Bohr then comes finding electron at suspension,
Compton bombarding all electrons every direction,
Drunk they're explaining again black body radiation,

Einstein and his theory another genius,
Complicating his story adding some minus,
Counting infinity long again continuing the sum,
Madness his sanity cold drink of quantum drunk,

World interconnected for human advancement,
Technology innovated our greatest achievement,
Horizons expanded but our purse is blank,
Generations founded out of quantum drunk.

About this poem

This poem explains the wisdom, efforts and endeavors portrayed by old time scientists of both Physics and Chemistry, in their struggle to understand the behavior of an atom in relation to light energy. Their drunk-form of concentrations bred our today's innovations and development in technology.
