Teach Me How to Dance

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Gina, Gina, Gina, all I want is what is good
To love you my dear sister and to help you all I could

But I’m not sure that I know how to give myself away
To live a life of selflessness and guide you on your way

Indeed, I need so much from you I’m not sure you could bear it
And when the burden falls on me I’m not sure I could share it

Our God has done a wonderous work to just give us a chance
And I don’t want to blow it because I don’t how to dance

If you have any input dear I really want to hear it
Just teach me one step at a time so I won’t learn to fear it
