Within My Mind

Deep within the darkened hallways of my mind
I claw at the walls, searching for a light

shadows grow darker as demon eyes pierce through
Staring at me with bright yellow hue's.

Slowly I crawl through into a boat
But there's no water and it does not float

I stay inside the boat to keep me safe
From the demons in the dark of the cave

I fall asleep within my safe place
But wake to a light, Shining in my face

My hand raises to see the light
Demons retreat and the view comes to sight.
