I preach purity; but a deeper look
At me, you'll see an epitome of filth.
I hide behind fake smiles and nice words, but
Beneath are my bared teeth ready to bite.

I watch and listen to your cries and pains,
I offer comfort and consolation,
I stand by you throughout those moments, but
Underneath I rejoice at your sufferings.

I feed on your trust –what I call weakness,
I drain you of joy, for it annoys me,
I pledge to you my support and service,
But what I really do is dig your grave.

I'm the perfect definition of friend,
Yet I'm the worst enemy you could have.
I'm there through your hard days, when people fail
But guess who enjoys every bit of it.
