Survivor

Dipsikha Deka 2002 (Assam)

                           SURVIVOR
Shadowy night and pleasing sounds
Runs through my mind as my heart pounds
All of sudden comes in a flash to my mind
Where reality hits my heart with utter truth
None of the events can be recalled now
How do I bring back my past days ,how ?
And the war that's lasting for some good years
Shatters my core by bitter cries I hear
As the sirens goes on and on again
Ready to leave the place with immense pain
As a survivor,ready to survive
Hoping to recollect those good days to revive and revive

About this poem
