Salvation

Favour Adam 2005 (Akwa ibom)

I'm not writing this poem to get popular
Nor writing for recognition
Even the true men of God preach for his kingdom
I have to do same for his kingdom
This poem of mine of which I bring is heaven's mind
This poem of mine is the salvation of our souls
There's a question
Why is Satan taking souls?
Things they run after
But I tell u that all these will end later
Some sell their souls to the devil,
to get the fame
but later ends in shame
Truly they believe in philiosophies
When trouble comes,
they run after prophecy
In the world of so many
Latest phones, cars, laptops and so on
There's no enough for us
I pray Satan doesn't waste us.
This poem of mine
Is the poetic voice of heaven
This poem is to win souls
not to loose souls
This poem is the poetic voice of heaven
and that voice speaks twenty-four- seven
He knocks at the door to be with you
But u abandon the one who truly loves you
Again, I pray Satan doesn't waste you
For Jesus can make you brand new
On his way to Golgotha
Carrying that cross you would think it's his agbada,
getting "boos" from fools
But he never mind
He braced that rugged cross for you and I
He is ever ready to receive you and I.
