Insecurity and poor governance

INSECURITY AND POOR GOVERNANCE- PEOM BY JAMILUSULTAN

The stead trenches in blood
Innocent souls displaced
Our yards became pregnant with corpse

In the soup of insurgency
Informants has taken over as spices
Come rain; come shine
The country's security has lost it sight
Defence crippled with paralysis

Luxury lives now so important to leaders than the lives of their subjects,
Sabatours laugh with comfort
Oil nation that cries the pains of subsidy

Communities visited by terrorists
Towns once peaceful
Now rumbled in confusion and runs for their dear lives

A new day has set in
The drum of election campaign will soon beat
Shameless goat will be back with stories
Thirsty for our commanding thumbs
The spider has set it web

As the day breaks
And the clock counts it hours
We pray it breaks the barries
Were things will regain
There state of normalcy
Feast today; famine tomorrow
When will the pains and hard times comes to an end

We were caught in the web of

a. Hike in tuition fees
b. Hike Commodities and food products
c. Hike in petroleum
d. Total collapsed of our educational system

The dream of our past heroes
For a better Nigeria is still awake
All that is needed is change
And the change should begin with mie
And you

We beseech Allah to forgive our trespasses
And salvage us from the doom that engulfed us
And denied us thriving as a nation
And to choose for us leaders that have us at heart comes 2023 elections
