I gave you my heart

Erica Hale 1986 (Taxes)

I gave you my heart but you tore it apart . I try to glue it together to make it better but you just shred it like a letter . I tell you some day I’ll be gone and you just think it’s a nother love song.  I explain and tell you what’s to blame but you ignore it like it’s something lame but my heart is not game, it’s always the same . My heart is cold and this shit is getting old. It’s now or never for us to be better. But you still think another girls better. You act as if we never married and kept everything buried! I stuck by your side but all you did was lied. Better or for worse , but you wasn’t on my side. I see your happy knowing I’m tore. Hurting inside with know where to hide! You broke my heart and tore us apart. You act as if I never mattered when you pulled that lever. You dumped me in the trash to chase a nother piece of ass. You had love greater then above you had loyalty stronger then royalty. You had it all then threw it like a ball. I gave you my heart and your tore it apart!
