Redemption from forbidden sea

A dawn above a summer tree

Trampled flowers, golden reed

Home is where there's an abiding key

Exist in life, but not fully begin

Hiding in the thick layers of skin

Walk into happiness, but forget

Home is where you should have been

But now you're drowning in regret

About this poem

It's warm to me because it's about home and how I see it
