God Bless The Queen

Such a big smile
And twinkly eyes
The loss of our Monarch
The great leader dies
She's been there so long
We can't remember a time
She wasn't our Queen
In the Sovereign line
Always dressed in bright colours
With a beautiful hat
Our Queen was so stylish
And that was a fact
We adored her and followed her
Always so loyal
To the wonderful woman
Who epitomised royal
Our pride in our leader
Gave us such strength
To see her and serve her
We'd go to great lengths
We dreaded her leaving
But that time has come
Our hearts are so broken
Our tears freely run
But we remember so gladly
We lived in her reign
And that knowledge does help
To lessen the pain
In heaven you find her
It's time for her rest
She gave us her service
And was simply the best
So to Her Majesty
We do raise a glass
She's finally retiring
With grace and with class
Ma'am we salute you
Your work here is done
You left bathed in light
As bright as the sun
Phillip was waiting
To help you across
While we come to terms
With the depth of our loss.....
