Fatigued

Fatigued

Days like this
I feel fatigued from the long
journey
Days like this
I see the shadow of a grumpy man

Bored of
The MacBook
The cellular phone
Netflix and Amazon

Annoyed by
All the pretending smiles
All the bodies without souls
At the post office, supermarkets,
and food
joints

Fed up with
All the swiping
Up and down
Left and right
Endless suggestions of Wolverine
and
Predatory Faces

All the derailed women
Customer service
Car payments
Insurance
A job that I hate
The rent
My heart
A girlfriend that does not exist

All the long trips
Driving alone
Sleeping on a single mattress on
the floor

Days like this
I’m sick and tired of
Men who look like hyenas
and slugs
Men like ants
Men in shorts and slippers
pretending to own
real estate
Men who preach but cannot teach
a single
thing
Scumbags with the best jobs
And men who lost their vivacity
and love for life

Sitting on the front porch
Watching my reflection in the glass
door
Are you somewhere in there?

On days like that
I wonder
Where can I find you?
