Farewell

Lina Amribed 2002 (Casablanca)

My heart fluttered like a birds wings at the sight of the unclasping truth of a sunset
Imagining becoming one with the clouds of this hour
Submerging my soul in the colorful canvas and becoming the paintbrush
Hanging on and moving from side to another covering as much as I can to feel
A rush? Happiness or self medication? I wondered about my movement with the clouds
The sky is a honey dripping raspberry now
Sweet and inviting
Making me salivate for more
I admit I'm a lover of sweetness especially the truthful one.
I dont know if I colored the sky with the colors of my soul or was I just sweeping the surface of the clouds to unravel the sun's secret for me today
I dont look away looking at the colors swim across me and cover the surface
Are you looking? Look no stare, open your eyes and glue them to this moment
It will become a memory soon
I'm looking dodging the buildings made by greedy men that intend to cover everything beautiful
I'm feeling and tasting the dish of the sweet ingredients the sun offered me with her voyage.
Land?, I didnt care much for land or sand or the green tickling grass at this moment
All I wanted was to kiss the sun goodbye and not burn my lips
I like sunrises more because goodbyes are hard, I enjoy the fleeting moments and raise my arms to feel the thin air flying streaks of my hair and embracing me
I'll see you tomorrow by Dawn
I'll wait for your arrival friend, like always, show me a color that withholds a secret
I'll keep it safe
Till we meet farewell.
