Did I really miss school

Did I really miss school?

Did I really miss school?
No,I missed rushing out for 8 O'clock
Lectures after having stressful night.

Did I really miss school?
No,  I missed the moment
Of snapping pictures with my friends
After boring lectures.

Did I really miss school?
No, I missed getting lost,
when my lecturer dictate notes in class,
Leaving some paragraph to continue.

Did I really miss school?
No, I missed the freedom I enjoyed
Being my own parents,  going out
And coming in anytime I like.

Did I really miss school?
No,  I missed waiting for every
Month to end like a civil servant.

Did I really miss school?
No, I missed emptying
My roommates  pot,  after coming
From lecture very hungry.

Did I really miss school?
No,  I missed catching cruise
Inside lecture hall, making
My friends burst into laughter .

Did I really miss school?
No,  I missed scouting
Beautiful ladies on walkway,
Just like a team manager.

Did I really miss school?
No, I missed visiting her hostel
At night,  just to have sweet talks.

And,  did i really miss her?
No,  I missed the corner
We stayed during night class
Known to both of us.

About this poem

As a student I feel nostalgic over going back to school, I feel the pains and the psychological emotions that is caused over the lingering ASUU Strike. I wrote this poem to express how I've missed the school and other social situations around it.
