Dear Poetry

Last four years was indeed,
A terrible plight for me
Melancholy and pain, trying  to bring me down
But with your potent hands, you fought for me
With anger in your eyes-
"Touch not this daughter of mine".

Love was not love before your existence
Sugar was sour
And honey was bitter
But when you dipped your hands inside,
Sugar turned sugar,
And honey turned honey again
Depicting the power of words, intensity and literature
The proficiency of healing, lives under your blanket
Like a mother's voice,coming from beneath
Telling me to come and sleep
It's night already, the moon is here
In my sleep i whispered
"Poetry is therapeutic"
And there I  found a home
Till the day my breath cease to exist

In a slow haste, commiting to the
Alarm of a pen and a paper
Melodies per feelings,
Feelings per melodies

Dear poetry
The agile lips of my pen
Longs to write darlings about you
Holding your hands, look into your eyes and say
" love is real when you smile"
In my eyes,weaving imageries
I see you smile
Like a dove with nifty words on her wings
Dancing perhaps swaying
Singing deep into your ear
Submitting with a pen to a paper,
Criss-crossing in meters,rhymes and rhythms
Working from a line to the next
Building a stanza of love
Cheers to beauty that lives here
Yours truly
