Black people know you are worth it

Ledwaba Rosina 2006 (Limpopo)

Black child do you know who you are?
Do u know your roots?
Do u follow your culture?
You follow others cultures but not yours.

You don't know your siblings anymore
U suffer because of your doings
God have seen how hurtful you can be
Why don't you tell the new generation about your culture?

Are you ashamed of your culture?
Black child wake up!
Wake up before it's too late!
Think fast!

You don't follow your heart but others,
Just look how beautiful your skin is
Don't you love your skin?
Your skin is your pride!

Wake up and look how this world turned to,
Do you like how it is?
With you following your culture,we can change this world.
Love your culture!

Other people love your culture,
They wish to be like you,
Don't be like that!
Get up and be who you were meant to be.

It's you against your culture,
You can't forget it like this,
The new generations need to know who we are,
And others should accept us the way we are.

Things changed alot.
But we can still fix it before the world fall at our feet.
Viva black people! Viva!
Know you are worth!
We can still make our ancestors proud!
Love yourself for who you are!
Not for who you are told you are.
