A Tall Tale

Elcane 1999 (Idjwi/south-Kivu)

If you can't touch my hairs, my hands and my entirety
And neither you're here with me to give winks and waves solemnly
To make me look pretty to impress you everyday
I still can feel your presence even through your says.

I take angels to testify I never knew you and God who brought us together
To witness of my heart falling in love suddenly, something never I could wonder.
And if mistake shall it be, and if dream shall it look like, or let me say abstract
I'll take it from our tangible hearts to intangible souls, through this abstract

I'll say to be careless of your age, shape weight and skin color but rather good heart.
I know it to be a total real tall tale to tell to stars under those tepid moonlight,
Or to offspring if ever we meet before the story is ended, good news that in the heart
Tales are forever as from generation to generations ours will shine even in the night.

If you think we met in the previous tall tale before today's,
I'll also thank the destiny to have brought us together from the very first line of  today's
