A new day shines on my heart

My beloved, I miss you like the sun misses the moon.

But right now, I must depart

It is critical for me to reach a place of hope once more.

During my search, I found

The serenity and happiness I once saw in your eyes

Now, I hear it in her voice

  

She transports me to previously unexplored locations  

of my hidden thought life

only to find that I am only reframing previous ideas

Everything is familiar

She is not, as you were, a part of my heart

She is my soulmate

  

I am not thinking about her the way you were.

She and my thoughts have fused

And I have discovered

that she is me
